Carlo Bordoni

A sociologist, journalist and essayist, he contributes to Il Corriere della Sera and to the weekly supplement La Lettura. He wrote State of Crisis (Polity, 2014) with Zygmunt Bauman. His books have been translated into English, Chinese, French, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Greek and Korean. As a lecturer in Sociology of Literature and Art, Sociology of Cultural Processes, Sociology of New Media and Aesthetics, he has taught at the University of Florence, at the Orientale and the Federico II of Naples, at IULM in Milan and at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara, of which he was director from 1990 to 2003.
